Synthetic product demonstration

Same bytes. Different name.
Same name. Different bytes.

These private-safe examples illustrate CornerStone Artifact Integrity results. They are synthetic renderings, not customer records or independently certified evidence.

Start with the registered artifact

Example: important-record.csv, containing a cash amount of 10. Registration establishes the exact artifact used for the comparison.

Download the synthetic original CSV

Renamed exact copy

archived-copy.csv contains the same bytes as the registered original.

ACCEPTED

Safe Reason: The candidate is byte-for-byte identical to the registered artifact under the supported verification workflow.

Download the renamed exact copy

Same filename / changed bytes

important-record.csv now contains a cash amount of 11.

VERIFICATION_REJECTED

Safe Reason: The candidate differs from the registered artifact. The matching filename does not override the byte difference.

Download the changed candidate

A rejection is not a fraud finding.

This result answers the exact-artifact question. It does not identify who changed the file, explain why it changed, or establish whether either version is truthful.

In the product, retain your Verification Receipt (PDF) and Artifact Registration ID. Keep the Cryptographic Evidence Package (.cspkg) for advanced evidence use.
